on the 23rd February, my first danish teacher came to visit me for her mid-morning coffee and a bagel. i drew her a leaf, and it was not a perfect leaf, but it was ok.

the next day, i drew another rubbish leaf.

the problem is that i have drawn only one perfect leaf so far. and it was so perfect it could have been on youtube. and i was busy pretending that i do that kind of shit all time, its no big deal, that i had no chance to take a photo. i know there will never be another leaf like that. and the best ones i draw, people just stir them anyway..
and here is a nice blue sky just outside my work at dusk.

on the 29th of feb, i moved house. the person now living in my room had moved in by the time i was moving out, so packing was a bit hectic, but with a lot of help and kindness, i managed to be moved out in about two/three hours.

and another blue view from my new room..

and hanging out on the windowsill.

i can never draw good leaves when i have a camera on me, but here is a substandard leaf from the 20th feb..
Amy painted me a picture of an elephant on the 18th. its hard to catch on camera, but the cat was a bit hypnotised with the paintbrush and the water..

i had passed my danish exam that week and my colleague made me a little muffin-top danish flag present to say well done

and politi in the rain on the way home
